Worst Chinese Buffet. I love Chinese food but should have trusted my instincts and turned and walked out as soon as I entered the establishment and glanced around. The place looked somewhat shabby and only had about 20 patrons on a Saturday evening but I've been in places that I have prejudged and been delighted at what I found. I was sorely disappointed this time. I tried a variety of foods from the buffet and only took one bite from each. Each item was either overcooked, soggy, tasted odd or looked like a congealed mass of clotted cream. I pushed the plate aside and made another trip hoping to find something better. I would have taken the Kung Pao but it looked like it was soaking in an oil slick. The soy and garlic green beans and the beef and broccoli were the best items I found. I talked to the woman at the cash register about my disappointment in the meal but she didn't seem like she was interested in my concerns. She did provide a 10% discount on my bill but I don't feel like she was concerned that I told her this was the worst Chinese buffet I had ever been to.
