Horrible Experience. I called Jean (owner) to book Friends for my sister's wedding reception. She told me the date I requested was open, we agreed on a start time, menu, etc. I live out of state & told her that I could sign a contract at any time, but would be in town the next month. She confirmed that was fine (I have it in writing). When I arrived the next month to sign the contract (having already mailed the wedding invitations), she told me that she had given the date away to another party!! She was rude & unprofessional despite the fact that the mistake was hers (I had her confirming of the date/time in writing). She had NO date book or planner, was unable to find my file at first in a messy office, & really has no idea of how to run a business. I had to mail out a retraction & a new reception card to ALL of our guests.

If you want a professional event with a venue you can trust, I STRONGLY suggest you look elsewhere. I ignored the warnings & had to deal with an extremely unpleasant situation. Fortunately we were blessed w/ another venue: better prices & professional staff.
