SCREW YOU!!. Okay this place is absolutely HORRIBLE!! Thank god they are shutting down! So I heard about this place from a friend so I decided to try it out for my bridesmaid dresses. Well, my first time in the store with one of my friends we were not greeted. There was only one lady working and she was just chatting on the phone and wouldnt even recognize us.. So we just started looking around. Everything there was so scrunched together and it was hard to even see anything. Finally after about 15 minutes the lady working there walked by, still not saying a word, so I said excuse me, we would like some help! So she helped a little but if I asked if they had a certain type of dress she would just say "oh its on one of the other racks". Well thanks! Finally I found a few dresses that I liked and had my friend go try them on. Still no help. We picked out one that we wanted and the lady was being very ignorant. I still decided to have all my bridesmaides order the dress I found from there becuase I couldnt find it anywhere else. The last girl that had to order her dress went in there back in early September, I called the next day to tell the lady working there to please order the bridesmaid dresses, and asked for an approximate date they would be in by, she told me she would find out and call me right back......still waiting....still no call! I have called there almost every day of the week since then, have stopped by the damn place several times when the shop is suppose to be open and the doors would be locked with no one there. Finally just late last week the lady called to inform me that she ordered the dresses and there is an extra fee of $55 per dress to rush order it. HUH? She told me back in early September she ordered them.. But what the hell.. Then tonight, I received a call saying that they are shutting their doors and we are SOL and they never ordered our dresses.. What kind of place does this? You are there to Serve and to HELP! But really, thank god they are going out of business so no one has to go through what I had/ am going through. My wedding is in 9 weeks and now we have no bridesmaid dresses and we are all out money! Well thanks a whole lot!

Would recommend. It was a little packed in the small store, but it did have a wide selection of reasonably priced gowns - both bridal and bridesmaid. We were able to walk in on a Saturday and get a dressing room which was nice. However there was only one woman working by herself, so we were hesitant to ask questions because she was running around the whole time. If you don't mind serving yourself, this is a great place to look.

Freaking AWESOME!!!!!!. I began my bridal gown search a few months ago. I have been to numerous bridal stores, with no luck. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon to a wonderful selection of bridal gowns. I wasn't sure how I was going to choose just one! The ladies at Happily Ever After Bridal actually paid attention to what I was searching for. Listened to the style, color, and budget I was on. Never once tried to push me to up my budget (that was very important to me). The ladies, Sunny and Jenna were very polite, and easy to work with. Accommodating to my very specific needs for my wedding. Offered suggestions and solutions to what I was wanting. Highly recommended for quality, prices, and excellent customer service. Side note: To the November 12th review author (from Google, I am posting this here as well). I have been to numerous bridal stores. They all charge for measurements if you are not ordering from that particular store. I also learned that bridesmaid dresses are sample sizes. It seems that the charge for measurements was explained for you (as you just explained). I've worked in a high end clothing store before; most ladies do not want someone helping them get dressed. A self confidence thing. Also most likely the '20 Questions' that you were being asked was for if you were to purchase your dress, having the information on file makes things much easier for you in the long run. The gals really do a wonderful job, and keep it fun for their clients.

Absolutly Wonderful!. Amazing selection! Probably the best customer service I have ever encountered. Excellent prices, extremely knowledgeable of their inventory. Just really fun to work with! I love these ladies!

"I don't want to be here". Literally the words out of the woman's mouth who was helping me find a bridal gown.

The rooms to try on bridal gowns were huge, but that was about the only impressive thing about the place.

The gowns are FILTHY! Please understand that when trying on gowns at this place, it is likely that a ton of girls have tried the dress on before you...NOT ONE OF A KIND!

Discounted dresses are still overpriced! Discounted dress still in the $400's and up...if you're looking for a deal keep looking!....

Staff not very friendly or helpful, if you want a hands-on experience or friendly staff...keep looking.

Best Place Ever!!!!. I just picked up my beautiful gown and it was perfect!! Just like they said it would be. I had a great time here throughout the whole experience. The ladies could tell what kind of dress I wanted from what I told them, they actually listened to what I wanted, so they made it easy for me to find the perfect dress. I was surprised at the price too it was such a great price, they didn't try to charge me some made up "rush fee" like other places, they were great with all my maids and were even able to do the tuxes. It was great being able to do it all there. It made life so much easier for me, it was like pushing the "easy" button for part of my wedding. So yes, I highly recommend this store.

Albert Pujols at Happily Ever After!!!. I was in this place getting fitted for my tux when here walks in St. Louis Cardinals 1st basemen Albert Pujols , his wife and kids. Apparently they were re-newing their vows and were in to pick up her dress and his tux, man he is big up close, nicest guy ever...So yeah it felt really nice getting my tux at the same place that Albert Pujols gets his. Oh and when the tux came in it fit great.

Great Experience from Start to Finish!!!. I had a great time with the girls at happily ever after, they really were very genuine people, I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me a car I didn't like, like at some of the other shops in town. They listened to what I had to say and let me pick the dress I wanted. Everything ran so smooth, I couldn't believe they even gave text and facebook updates on my dress. By far, the best little wedding dress shop in the STL.

Wonderful Service!!. I was one of the brides that was unfortunately caught up in the "I Do I Do Bridal" scam. I was left with no deposit and no dress 5 months after I placed my order.

At that time, the shop was reopened as "Happily Ever After Bridal". The new owners worked with me in an honest and up front way. They went above and beyond - honoring my original deposit and getting me my DREAM wedding dress. These girls are about doing the right thing for their customers - and they are fun to work with! I would absolutely recommend Happily Ever After Bridal to my friends - they are awesome!!
