I was looking for a place to continue my laser treatments on bikini & armpits. I had comleted 6 at a spa that had went out of business. So to not lose the $ I had already spent this far & results (75% of hair gone) I looked into Ideal Image because of the radio commercials. They were running specials but would not quote a price for me over the phone & said they customize the price based on your consultation. It got me in the door but wouldn't have if I had known the cost up front. The lead consultants should be called Sales Women! They are very pushy & tell you that their lasers are better then everyone elses. That could be, but the price was expensive. $5600 for bikini & $2700 for armpits. She kept telling me, don't think about the total cost, think about if you can fit a monthly payment into your budget. Well I can afford to pay the total cost, I just don't want to do that. As much as I would love to be hairless, I have to admit I did weigh the options. I just wrote this review so you would have an idea of the price they are going to charge you since they won't disclose this till you are sitting in front of them. Do you research on lasers because they say they use a Candella Laser. I have a friend that is a laser expert & she told me those prices are outragous. They say it's expensive because they can guarentee permanant hair loss. My laser friend said there is no way to promise that. She said when she worked for a place like that she had to leave because she felt guilty with how they would sucker people in. I can't speak for the results except that I had good results from the other spa that I had 6 tx's at & probably would have been hairless if I could have had just 2-4 more tx's. Ideal Image makes you purchase 9 tx's up front for each area no matter if you finish in 3. So consider if $8300 is worth it to you.
