Unbelievably great service !. Glass Doctor fixed my panes. I came home from work and saw someone had broken into my house through the glass in my front door. I called Glass Doctor, they were there within an hour and replaced the glass. Very friendly service.
The Doctor is Out.
I'm not the sort of person to write reviews... unless I'm really pissed-off and I think people should be warned. So, here goes:
I scheduled service over the weekend to have my driver's side door glass replaced. Dispatch called me on Monday morning to tell me they could not replace the glass in my driver's side door because I would have to order it from the dealership.
The first reason this is bad business is because I should have been informed of this fact when I set up the original appointment. If I knew they didn't have the part for my car, I could have called 8 other companies that did.
Secondly, the vandals who broke my window not only damaged the glass, but I'm sure the rain coming in all weekend did a tremendous amount of damage to the upholstery. And now I'm thinking the Glass Doctor might have to share a bit of the blame for that as well.
I will never call the unreliable team at Glass Doctor again, nor will I recommend them to my friends. Instead, I will tell everyone how much of a quack the Doctor is.
Extremely poor customer service!!. I echo the previous review. Awful customer service. We were told the mobile service would be at our home to replace a window between 2 and 4. At 5pm, they still hadn't showed, or called for that matter. We called at 5:15 and were told they were two minutes away. Forty-five minutes later, still no word. In the end, we had called their customer service line 7 times, were told twice that we'd get a call back, which we never received. Finally, at 7:40pm, and our last call to customer service, we were told our appointment had been rescheduled for the following day. We never received a call letting us know of the rescheduling, or an apology call for that matter. I would've hated to experience what the replacement service would have been!
Great People, Fast Service. I had a big crack in my windshield and was afraid to drive it to work. I called Glass Doctor early in the morning and they made my windshield the first job for one of their techs and I was back on the road at 10am. Everyone was so nice and helpful.
Wow what a time saver. My car got broken into downtown around lunchtime. I called the Glass Doctor and by go home time they had it all put back together and even filed the claim with the insurance company. It doesn't get any easier than that.
Fast and friendly is no joke... My car was badly damaged in last months storms, not once but twice. One call was all it took both times and Glass Doctor was at the door same day had it all cleaned up and it looked great again. And I got my factory original glass both times. The second windshield only cost me labor. Have never been more pleased with a companies performance...
Glass Doctor made my mom so happy.. Vandals broke into my moms car and Glass Doctor came to her house and replaced the glass, cleaned up the mess and made a bad situation bearable. Thank you Glass Doctor
Worst Customer Service Ever. They really don't even deserve 1 star. I called this company for a windshield replacement and was notified at a later time that the technician had injured himself and couldn't come. I called the company back to reschedule and to see if they could offer me a discount because I had waited all this time and could've gone with Safelite. Brian the manager was very rude and had no interest in assisting me. He then told me that he wouldn't send out someone who was injured and I told him I would never expect him to but I just wanted to get maybe $10 off the price since they weren't coming and by this time I couldn't have anyone else come. Brian was very rude and raised his voice to me on the phone. I was appalled at how he treated me. I was just simply asking for them to appreciate that I had waited on them all day and now I couldn't get my window replaced. Brian then raising his voice at me stated " well how bout this, why don't you call safelite and have them do it. I don't want your business." Then he hung up on me. Very rude and definitely lacking any customer service skills what so ever. I did call safelite and I was very pleased and NO ONE was rude to me!
Very pleased !. Fantastic warranty- My windshield broke 10 months after Glass Doctor replaced it and all they charged me was $140 labor. They gave me a new $418 windshield for free.
Warranty... Yeah Right. Had my windshield replaced two weeks ago and the installer was great! Must've gotten a tiny little chip over the weekend and the entire windshield broke. I called to take advantage of the 12 month breakage warranty and they want to charge me $140 for labor! Outrageous. That's not a warranty, it's a joke. I'm not laughing and I think I'd rather pay a little more and give my business to someone else.
