Literally Sickening, Rude On Top of It - Stay AWAY!. I got sick from the food at the Pasta House in Ballwin on Manchester Road , and the Manager treated me like a liar in his procedure book, when I tried to inform him. Not only did he admit that he served me nearly a week-old soup with meat and broth made on Monday (served luke- warm on Saturday), gross! I was in the rest room with diarrhea three times within an hour of eating the soup. When explaining to the manager that I have regular digestion, had only eaten a banana for breakfast, and had a clean bowel movement already in the morning, he treated me like I was making up a story, said he'd take my name and address and pass it along. I tried to explain that I got sick from the old, sickening food in his restaurant, and he tried to blame it on me for eating soup that wasn't hot, like I should've sent it back to the kitchen. Well, come on boss, if I knew the soup was old and not heated, I wouldn't have eaten it. Now, I'm more upset than ever because the management has no concept of Customer Service or healthy food. Please send a health inspector, stay away, it's not worth the aggravation of dealing with these people AT ALL. STAY AWAY!

So you know, it's an independently owned franchise with disclaimers all over about how the Pasta House Co has no liability for what they do. They're independently owned and can get away with shoddy standards. Go to another Pasta House if you really want Pasta House. I guess they feel that protects them from getting customers sick or having any responsibility about the food they serve.
