Exceptional Service ... Highly Recommend!.
I would not hesitate to recommend Datamax to any business or organization who is looking for a partner who is wanting to help them reduce costs and better manage their printer and copier fleet.
They came in and looked over our entire situation, and recommended getting rid copiers and printers that were costing us a lot of money. We now have much more efficient multi-function printers with more features, and are saving thousands of $$ annually.
DISHONEST SERVICES. We had a service contract on our printers around the office from Data-Max. $200 for service per year on all our printers sounded like a great idea, however you need to BEWARE!!! Under this contract, Data-Max makes you buy all your toner and parts through them. We noticed they were adding maintenance kits to printers that they just put them on 4 weeks prior. We found out they were adding parts to machines when they were not ready to be changed out and then charged us for that part. Bad Business Ethics!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Copier Experience. After being in an industry where contracts and trust are very important I have lost my faith in Datamax. After several upgrades with them in years past I have never felt the need to shop or check competitor prices. Recently we have had a personnel change and got a new purchasing manager who requested we get other quotes. After receiving the quotes I found out that Datamax had been dishonest and giving us extremely high prices on our equipment. This has opened my eyes and I would definitely not recommend using Datamax for any of your office needs.
Best service around. Datamax seems to be really focused on service. I have been a customer for several years and have never had problem with service or billing. I would highly recommend to any looking for new equipment.
