Big, plush, fairly easy to navigate and did we mention big?.
The Venue
Drive east on Interstate 64 at night, and Savvis Center's neon blue light spreads before the urban skyscrapers in the distance. The arena is home to several of St. Louis' sports teams, most notably the NHL's St. Louis Blues, who carve up the ice inside. The Ambush (indoor soccer), Vipers (pro roller-hockey), and the SLU Billikens basketball team also call Savvis Center home.
The Experience
The hockey fans are good and loud, especially when the players drop their gloves and a bloody brawl ensues. The games are usually as colorful as the blue and purple seats, and the nose-bleed section shouldn't keep your appreciation at bay.
