Good Food, Great Outside Patio
by elisehwall
I have only experienced Space once and was very pleased. The decor is a bit loud, and if there is a game, the bar noise can carry. I suggest sitting outside if the weather permits, it can be romantic.
- Pros: Food, Outside Dining
- Cons: Noise
Great Experience
by foodlover26
I had the chance to visit Space this past weekend (10/1). It was very nice! Quiet and quaint. The decor is very interesting and expressive space theme. Most of the food was really good and the prices were great. I will say the waiter recommended the potato quesadillas: not a good recommendation for a first time guest. But the service was excellent.
It's like a little MAGICAL hole-in-the-wall. I would highly recommend it for any special occasion!
- Pros: Atmosphere, Service/Food, Parking
- Cons: Potato Quesidillas
Another Simple restaurant

I would say, there is no space on The Hill for Space. The only good experience I had was with the waiters/waitresses. The food is not worth mention, so I won't waste your time and I suggest you don't either.
- Pros: Good parking
- Cons: Menu, Food, Wine selection
A bit of Colorado lands on the Hill.

The Scene
Suggestive in multiple ways, this restaurant's minimalist moniker belies its arresting decor: dramatic colors, ceiling art, and vintage bakelite radios make the journey from front door to table something of an exploration. As at Colorado, Space's Midtown predecessor, the bar remains a popular spot for eating, drinking, and socializing. And the wine pourings are just as generous. The crowd varies from the casual shorts-and-jeans set to suit-wearing local news reporters. During renovations, the owners refurbished a corner shrine in the parking lot by adding a new statue of Mary?it is the Hill, after all.
The Food
Those familiar with Colorado will recognize the menu's eclectic offerings, with many of the same dishes: cold Thai noodles, smoked trout (highly recommended) and a number of salads, burgers and sandwiches. Several pasta, fish and beef entrees have expanded the menu even further. Caroline's pasta--farfalle with chicken, vegetables, and feta--is right at home on the Hill, while the Asian salmon, bathed in ginger and a sweet soy sauce, is a welcome addition to the area's Italian emphasis. Dessert: brownie from Marty's, heated up, homemade ice cream. Enough said.
Enjoyed it!
