Great sandwiches

I always order the Tolono which is one of the best sandwiches that I've ever had. The texture of the different ingredients and flavors mixed make this a truly great sandwich to enjoy. They serve their sandwiches with chips and you can order Fitz's root beer. We always order "Dusty Road" and it's delicious. During the summer months they have had bands playing on the weekends. During these events they give free trolly rides and they usually last long enough that you get to see a real train speed across the tracks. This is a wonderful family experience as you see many regulars.

Whistle Stop

The service here was wonderful. The small staff makes it very personalized, and one of the two managers is always ready to remember your order. The dining area is very clean and well kept and the historical memorablia is interesting. The food is excellent, particularly during the week, when the main cooks are working.
