I love it

I go to club buca every thursday and friday. It's really a fun club. everyone has their own opinion on what a fun time is. if your over 27 then buca may not be the place for you to go. their drinks are alright and their only a dollar on thursdays. they could have better music but if your there to have fun then it really shouldnt matter. I personally stay on the dance floor. I even got to know the employees personally and I think its a rather cool place, even though it may not look outstanding i'm not there to be martha stewart im there to party. and i have a damn good time every time

This place is an embarrassment to the city of St. Louis. This is absolutely the LAST place I would ever go for any reason. The place is full of 21-year-old (or fake-id) skanks and wannabe thug losers who get their jollies off grinding on drunk girls and copping a feel. A female friend of mine was accosted in the alley (the exit of the place) and had to elbow some piece of trash in the face to get him to let her go. No self-respecting person should even think of ever going to Buca.
- Pros: Perverts have a hangout!
- Cons: Dirty, pathetic losers everywhere, you get an STD just by breathing the air

Great place to find a creepy perv.

This "premiere St. Louis bar" is actually a St. Louis embarrassment. If you are coming in from out of town I highly recommend steering clear of the Landing as a whole. This bar is for people who just turned 21 (and they usually never return after the first visit), creepy perverts, old men, or mega trash. Their dark corners for the perverts to lurk which is one of the creepiest things I've ever experienced. Bottom line: just don't go. The patio is nice but not worth the creepy journey you'd have to take to get to it.

What a surprise!!!!

I went to Club Buca for my 21st birthday on Jan.5 thinking that i was going to have the night of my life and to my amazement i had walked into a freakin' dump!! I could not believe what this place looked like!!! The floor was sticky and wet. The hallway where the stairs went down smelled like someone relieved themself. I even had trouble calling this place and leaving a message trying to get my credit card back!!!! What a disappointment this place was! The men are creepy, married and old and the ones that are in there mid-20,s or so look like they still live with their mothers!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, and also, don't let the bouncers (in their nice suits) walking the streets fool you either because that's exacly what i thought about the place before i was convinced to "party it up". I thought that hey since they are wearing nice suits that it might be a upscale bar!! Like i said " I was COMPLETELY WRONG"!!!!! But, they will try anything to get u in!!! Don't do it!!! It's not worth the disappointment!! Oh, yeah!!!! Let's not forget the crappy champagne they gave me!!!! It was like drinking urine!!!! And, i tipped the ditsy bartender for the "FREE URINE" and she didn't even thank me!!! It was like i wasn't even standing there!!! She just walked off and did her thing!!! THIS BAR STINKS BIG TIME!!! I strongly "DO NOT RECOMMEND" going to this dump!!!

St. Louis can do better

Club Buca is the kind of place that you can't wait to go to when you are underage, but once you're there, you can't wait to leave. Need to order a drink? Good luck! Unless it is a drink with the ingredients in the name (i.e. Gin & Tonic, Vodka & RedBull), the bartenders probably won't know what it is. However, I must say that the bartenders definately are easy on the eyes! I've never had trouble with the bouncers, but I have heard plenty of stories and have seen several questionable incidents where professionalism may have been lacking. Music should be better--the same tired, worn out dance songs. Not a pretty place at all...I felt like I was dancing in a friend's unfinished basement. I'm glad it was so dark that I couldn't see the floor.

I called and called and e-mailed this club to find out what the dress code was and that I and my friends wanted to go there to celibrate my birthday and finnaly 10min before we walked to the club from the hotel I got ahold of somebody and asked what the dress code was. Well, they told me and needless to say whoever it was isn't smart. The guy at the door said that my friends could not go in because of his baggy pants and that they was 2in to long and all. Maybe it was just him judging a person by the color of their skin / discriminating person. I don't know, all I know is that the club needs to get there act together. At least to save trouble and having people upset post the information on myspace and on their website about what consist of the dress code so people don't waste gas traveling from a different state just to go to that one club.

Fun atmosphere

I have been to Buca a couple of times. So far, it has been one of my favorite places to go when I am at the Landing. I love how it is attached to Joey B's so if you want to get some Pizza you can do that when you are hungry. And there is a patio and Halloween is fun too, with the costume parties

- Cons: The location (for me), parking (it is the city)
