I love 609. They have friendly staff, great drinks and great music. Its just a little too small and gets overcrowded at times. Overall, I would rather hang out at 609 over the larger clubs and bars.

"This is one of those places that you pop into because you fancy a quick drink, somewhere a little more salubrious than your local boozer, but end up staggering out hours later, having enjoyed the company of perhaps one too many Local Hotties, fried smoked cheese or indeed a full meal, and of course possibly one too many delicious cocktails. Try a Washington Apple - made by one of the nicest bar staff in town, It is bloody well worth visiting. They have a good range of beers and fantastic wines, too." Parking can be dodgy but the lot attached is open to anyone. When in University City - Drop on in and tell them Mr. Dan Sent Ya and you'll be given the royal treatment - if you know what I mean mate.
