This place made the worst food -- all the guests were complaining about how cold the food was and how dry the meat was at the wedding. The cake was dry too, looked alright, but not the prettiest nor the best tasting. I know the bride spent a fortune for her wedding reception here, but I would never recommend anyone having their wedding done here. She's my best friend and she was even disappointed.

Unprofessional

The Ballroom is on the ground floor of a large apartment building, Coronado Place. I live in the building and have often noticed the valet drivers in the parking garage racing to retrieve guests' cars after events. Recently one of the valets drove very quickly and very close to me, honking his horn for me to get out of the way. He stopped the car maybe a foot from me. I complained to one of the Coronado Ballroom staff, assuming he would want to know about the unsafe and discourteous driving. He did NOT apologize, but instead told me he would "watch the security tape." Yes, voice dripping with disdain, he implied I was LYING and he did not apologize. Maybe these people treat you better when you are a paying customer? I would not want these valet drivers responsible for my guests' cars. Unsafe and rude.

The best in St. Louis

I just attended an event at The Coronado Ballroom and could not believe how wonderful it was. I've never experienced service like that in St. Louis. The food was amazing and the room spectacular. I highly recommend it.
