I had a very positive experience with Promax and its owner, Mr. Zee, who is a very professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy individual. Prior to selecting Promax, I obtained several estimates for vinyl siding and replacement window, and Promax was by far the most resourceful and thorough in its estimate. Mr. Zee ensured that all my questions were answered and helped me in the made many decisions related to the projects. The employees were also very professional, helpful and efficient. The great attention was paid to detail, and the quality of the work was outstanding.

I have used Promax for several jobs over the last 3 years, everything from window replacements to roof repair to painting ect. Every job promax has completed for us has been of outstanding quality, on time and on or UNDER budget! I can't say enough how pleased I have been with their work!

PROMAX did remodeling of two of the bathrooms in our house, and from the beginning we were pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism. The quotes we received were fair, and we knew what to expect from each phase of the process. Two projects were completed with a great careens and efficiency. We are deeply thankful for a great service for and go to Promax for any future remodeling needs. E.J. I

I had a great experience working with Promax. We hired them to do our master bathroom remodeling and to paint our master bedroom and formal living room/dining room. We were very pleased with the quality of their work and professionalism. Although they were the lowest bid we received, they did not skimp on material and paid close attention to every detail. Mr. Z was a helpful resource and provided some excellent suggestions and advice for the master bathroom remodeling. The end results are amazing and we happily recommend their services to our close friends who also hired them for a few remodeling projects at their house.

Pros: Very knowledgeable and professional. Great attention to detail.

Recently, I called Promax to repair major damage to my roof. After calling several companies, Promax came in with the lowest bid and were able to do the repairs in the shortest amount of time. I was really stressed about my roof getting fixed, since my belongings were in jeopardy of being ruined, but Promax basically took care of everything for me. This was my first experience with a contractor and I couldn't have asked for an easier process. I would recommend them to anyone!

Pros: They were the cheapest and were able to get to my project the fastest

I have used Promax for serveral different odds and ends jobs, and a major kitchen remodel. Each time was a seamless process for me. Since I was so pleased with Z's work, I have referred him to serveral friends and family members who have utilized his services and have all been very pleased. I have designated Promax as my permanent service for all of my construction and maintenance needs. Promax is the only contractor I would recommend, because I have had bad experiences with several other companies except Promax.

I've hired Z on two different occassions for two different jobs on two different buildings and he was very nice and knowledgeable. The gutters were completed in two days and look great. The roof repairs were done over a period of several days due to the weather but all leaks were stopped and I am very happy with his work. I will continue to hire Z and Promax for any further work on the property I manage as well as my own home. Promax responded when most other roofing companies wouldn't even return phone calls or come give estimates. They're my number one company to call for repairs.

Z was hired in Aug 07 to paint the entire inside of my house and refinish the wood floors right after I bought it. I wanted to clean up the inside before I moved in and he told me that I couldn't be in the house while his painting "crew" was there. Real reason was because he had only 1 painter to do the entire house. He was out more than 4 times to fix the screw ups and failure to paint or refinish parts of the wood floors by his subcontractors, which he put in writing I wouldn't have. He overcharged me utilizing substandard materials after I specifically asked for non-chalky paint - I still got chalky paint. The caulk yellowed within 2 months of being put in - when he put it on, 1/2 of the baseboard wasn't done. Z has failed to respond to mail sent to him regarding these issues. I've had to pay someone else to come in and repaint the downstairs properly. I had to replace the wooden floors due to the finish coming off and the damage to the wood caused by the subcontractor. I didn't want the stairs refinished, yet I came home one day and they were being sanded - only parts of them were refinished (tops only) and that just wiped right off. He paid the 1 painter only $1500 then didn't want to pay him the whole amt until I intervened, yet I paid him over $7000 for the whole job. I hired Z to do this job, but he went out of town and hired another contractor friend of his who subcontracted it again out. Very unethical business practices.

Pros: He completed the job in time requested

Cons: Substandard materials used, but charged for quality ones and performance.
