The only good thing I can say about Athena's would be the service. Our server was very nice. I went with my husband and two children (9 &12). We like Spanikopita, but this was not very good. I ordered a Grouper dish that was terrible. I normally like grouper because it has a mild flavor. This fish tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time...not very fresh at all, very fishy tasting. I couldn't eat it. When asked why I didn't eat it, I told our server, but was not offered anything different or compensation. My husband ordered a special dish, Steak Athena. The presentation was nice, but we have better steaks at Outback. Overall, we were extremely disappointed! Not only was the food terrible, but we could not get over how much it cost us!! Ridiculous!!! We will never go back, and would never recommend Athena's to anyone...unless you want below par food and feel like taking a second mortgage out to pay for your meal!
Pros: service
Cons: food, price

My Wife and I love Athenas. The menu offers so many unique dishes and the staff is great. You feel like you are dining with family when you eat there. I have turned some of my friends on to Athenas and they have returned almost every week. I highly suggest giving them a try as you will not be disappointed.

I get tired of eating the same cuisine all of the time. Going to the same old same old places. Last night, I decided to step out of my box and try Greek food. I found Athena's on this website. The menu looked terrific and we went to give it a whirl. We were greeted the second we walked in the door. The Dining area is very spacious, quiet, and candlelit. It had a nice ambiance to it. Our waiter "James" was more than friendly and very eager to help us with any questions. We started the evening with a Greek appetizer sampler. It was amazing. Then we had our salads. Which is even worth bragging over. The dressing on my Ceaser salad was perfect. The main course came next. I ordered one of the specials, which was prepared in front of us. It was very exciting, smelled great and tasted even better. I can not even begin to explain how impressed we were with the juiciness and flavor of our meats. Following the main course, we even tried dessert. Again, we were highly impressed. Everything was perfect. Meanwhile, our waiter never missed a beat. Always checking on us, refilling our wine, and making sure everything was just perfect. This restaurant offers impeccable service and food. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I can not wait to tell all of my friends and return for another visit.

I love to go to this restaurant for a gyro for lunch, and a leg of lamb for dinner. But, the nice thing is that they don't just offer greek cuisine, there are lots of american type dishes to choose from also. The atmosphere is also wonderful because the waiters are all dressed semi-formally which is a change from most small restaurants like this. The manager makes it a point to try to check on every guest, and you feel as if you are a part of the family in here. We love it so much we're even considering it as our rehearsal dinner site for our wedding coming up soon. I suggest that everyone give it a chance, I promise you'll find many things to love there.
Pros: all listed in review

Just moved back to the area and tried it for the first time about a month ago and loved it. The outside really does not do it justice but once you walk you will no what I am talking about. I have tried a couple of diffrent dishes and have yet to be disappointed you can truly tell this is a family ran restaurant. One thing I truly enjoy is all the things they do right at the table diffently a place everyone needs to try.
Pros: ambience
