Great Salon

A friend referred me to Derrick and I was very happy with the cut and service. Derrick is talented and you can tell he loves what he does. Very creative! I will be back.

I was looking online to find a new salon to go to. I found Salon Dacota and thought I would give it a try. Erica did a fantastic job on my hair, giving me exactly the cut I was looking for. I will definitely be a returning customer to this salon.

Fantastic Salon

The master stylists at Salon Dacota know what they are doing. They listen to what you want, look at your face shape, coloring and design you a style that works. Christy is the stylist that my daughter and I use. She has worked miracles for me before. I sometimes go too long between visits and she can take me from frumpy to fantastic!

Amazing Salon!!

I was referred to this Salon from a lady at work, I had been with my original Salon for years and was hesitant on switching but from the first call to the actual first visit I could see why people rave about this salon, I will never switch back. The people are all very friendly, you can get an appointment booked fairly quickly. My stylist is Derrick and he is absolutely amazing, everything from the initial consult to try to grasp what you would like to actually accomplish with your cut, to the unbelievable neck and scalp massage is great!! He has always gotten my hair to look exactly like I've wanted it to and also taken a lot of get-ready time off of my daily routine, he made my hair so much easier to do, yet so much more stylish!! Genius! =)

Terrific Stylist

I won a basket containing hair care products and a complimentary hair cut, blow-dry style and a color consultation at a silent auction I recently attended. I redeemed the gift certificate for a haircut and style with Valla.

She warmly greeted me on-time at the salon. We proceeded to discuss what type of style I envisioned. Valla spent time asking me about my styling routine, my preferences, and my goals (I am growing my hair to a new style length). She gave a fabulour neck and scalp massage during the shampoo. Valla did a great job cutting my hair and incorporated the requests I made regarding bang length and ability to get volume at the crown.

The big test -- could I style it at home? Yes! I will return.

Wonderful Salon!

Went to the same salon for 3 years. Moved to Saint Louis and found Salon Dacota.

Loved it!!

Bobbi is a wonderful hair stylist, very knowledgeable. He listens to what you have to say about your hair. I would recommend this to salon to anyone.

Excellent Salon!

I am a worker, accounting six days a week, not much of a high maintenance girl. I usually get a quick cut at Great Clips. I was going to party and needed a cut, I passed Salon Dakota and thought to myself, no way will I get in, it's a salon, you will need to give a month notice to get in. I walked in and said I was looking to get a cut right now and I wasn't sure if you take walk-ins. The receptionist said, "sure we do, welcome to Salon Dakota", before she could look in her computer a gentleman stood up and said, "I will be more than happy to help you".

I am not thrilled with my hair becuase to me it is thin and boring. I asked him to help me have a little style and he said to me, "you have lovely hair, it is not thin, it is fine and is a normal thickness, it's all those people with very thick hair that make us feel like our hair is thin." I loved that, right away he made me feel comfortable and to not see my hair and such a drawback. My stylist, Bobbi, is awesome! He gave me a great cut and even curled my hair for my party. I felt great leaving their and had a wonderful time at my party with my stylish hair, thanks to Bobbi! : )

I went back one week later to have Bobbi color my hair and I must say..... My confidence level has risen and I love my hair! I am hooked and will never go elsewhere.

Everyone there is friendly, the atmosphere is relaxing and they are very attentive. Thanks Bobbi and Salon Dakota, you were just the boost I needed!

Great Haircut

I had a great experience at Salon Dacota. Erica did a great job cutting my hair. I would recommend her to anyone. The cut was stylish and low maintenance, exactly what I wanted. If you are looking for a salon in the St. Louis area you should give this one a try!
