Our family switched to this studio this past year. We will not be returning! Their fees for customes, recital, and classes are higher then what we use to pay, by a lot. For the extra money I have not seen an increase in my daughters abilility. We had practice for recital and it was a mess. Very unorganized. A studio that has been around as long as they have should be able to run a organized and timely rehearshal. We are looking for another alternative for Fall.

We love this studio. We think someone is VERY JEALOUS!!! The instructions are great and the staff is very friendly . If someone is unhappy why not discuss it with the "owners" instead of being vinditive? This school does not have it's extremely large enrollment because they do everything wrong. Does that make sense? Their recitals are fabulous. I am a Father of three daughters in this school. It is rare for us Dad's to look forward to seeing the rest of the dancers and not just their own children perform.
Pros: My daughters love going to dance class at this studio
Cons: We haven't experienced any.

Came across this site looking for a new studio to move to for the 2008 - 2009 dance year. My daughters have danced at this studio for quite a few years. We can no longer put up with the politics and negativity that area also in the enviroment. The owners have A LOT of issues that they need to deal with.

Try 119 classes a week not 250 and the floors are not premium dance floors. When the studio opened with the floors the teachers complained that they were not good dance floors, especially for tap. If people are going to post information it really should be accurate. Just because someone says the floors are "fake wood" does not mean that the floors were installed poorly. Lighten up!

We did our research, and Dance Incorporated is by far the most professionally run studio in St. Louis. Their teachers have incredible professional backgrounds. They include choreographers for the prestigious Boston Ballet Co., American Festival Ballet Co., and the Nevada Dance Theatre. Their instructors have also been perennial performers on Broadway, elite NFL cheerleaders, and former nationally ranked gymnasts. I’ve come to learn Dance Incorporated has been a successful studio for over 40 years and found their long standing reputation was unmatched by any other school around. For a number of years now, they have exceeded all of our expectations!
Pros: Highly qualified instructors. State of the art facilities. Great location. Friendly office staff.

.Although I have not yet brought this site to Miss Ellie's attention, as I hate for her to see these slanderous attacks., They are SO HURTFU!. However, this is probably the only way to stop this vile person. If I were Miss Ellie I would do whatever is necessary to find out who is hiding behind anonomous names to spread such vile lies and take them to court for liable and slander. TIM POSTED ON CHRISTMAS EVE. 12-24-07
Pros: A great studio with well trained teachers and great role models.
Cons: That the person who used to go there and is probably NOT WELCOMED and was asked to leave is spewing lies ever went there in the first place.

I was a little shocked reading some of the other reviews. Obviously, there are some people with an axe to grind. I don't know about all of the politics with the owner of the studio, but I can comment on the instructors. I know several of them and know that they have an extensive background in dance. Many have danced professionally and have taught at several other reputable dance schools. I have been to several Dance Inc. recitals and have seen the relationships between the students and their instructors. It is obvious that the instructors care about their students even beyond the studio. In addition, many of the numbers choreographed by the teachers consistently win choreography awards at competitions. This would not happen with untrained instructors. It is unfortunate that some feel the need to slander the instructors to carry out their personal agenda against the studio owner, but if you want your kids to have quality instructors that care about them, then you will find them at Dance Inc.
Pros: location, instructors
