All I can say is Dr. Wallach is amazing!! I am the proud mother of two adorable little pugs (Ninja, who is black and Samurai, who is fawn/tan) and if you are familiar with this breed they are extremely michievious and rambunctious, always getting into EVERYTHING!! Well you name it and Ninja has gotten into it, he has had many trips to the emergency vet in the middle of the night and I have made many calls to Imperial animal hospital with random questions regarding my puggies. In February of 2008 Ninja ate a leaf off of a peace lilly on a visit to my mothers, needless to say his liver started to fail and he could not stop throwing up. Dr Wallach did everything she could for him and ME! She was so familiar with our little family that she knew I was worried sick and always was completely honest and down to earth. She knew exactly how to ease my frustration and at the time saddness. Ninja was in the intensive care for about 2 full weeks and only got to come home a couple of times in the evening to sleep at home and them had to return the next morning at 8:00 sharp to be put back on IV fluids. Dr. Wallach went the extra mile to find out what was wrong with him and after thousands of dollars later Ninja fully recovered and finnaly got to come home for good!! She is my personal favorite vet at the Imperial Animal Hostipal and if you are looking for a relatealble vet than she is your gal! When all of the vet techs and receptionist thought I was crazy she did not. She saved our Ninja and I truley think she is the best!!!!
Pros: caring, patient, and relatable veterinarian
Cons: office staff was impatient and seemed burdened by my situation

Dr. Laura Ivan has knowledge that ranges from medical treatments to simple remedies such as oatmeal baths to help relieve itch with allergic reactions in the skin. She seems to understand our hamsters and dogs and what is going on with them better than anyone else. Now that she has opened Ivan Animal Hospital in House Springs, MO., I go there to see her. We also have our dogs groomed there by Kristin. For those who may have lost track of Dr. Ivan, her number is 636-671-0700
Pros: Staff that really cares about your animal and you
Cons: Your pet is ill or has to have yearly shots when you are there.

I have several exotic pets and couldn't find an exotic vet when one fell ill. I found Dr. Ivan and she is absolutely the best! I now take ALL of my pets, 'normal' ones and exotics and will follow her to her new location. Thanks a bunch Dr. Ivan for saving my little buddies.
Pros: Super knowledge and super friendly
Cons: none that I have found yet

Dr. Ivan is the best. I have an Akita who does NOT like the vet (imagine that!) and she is soooooo wonderful with him! I will not be going to anyone else.
Pros: Big waiting room, evening hours, other vets are also great!
Cons: None that I have seen.
