User Reviews for Staffing Solutions

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I work in HR and I have always heard of Staffing Solutions for temporary workers when I was recruiting. My company downsized last year and I went to the them for help. They found me a direct hire position as an HR Generalist in a company I love. I would use them again...but hopefully I won't have to!

Pros: caring staff, no fees

I came to Staffing Solutions looking to re-enter the work force after being a stay-at-home mom for 20 years. I was understandably nervous and didn't know what I would be qualified to do. The people there were extremely personable and took a genuine interest in me. They offered free computer training to help me brush up on my skills during the time I was not on assignment, which I thought was pretty neat, and within a short time they placed me in a permanent position. I am really enjoying my job and I highly recommend their service.

Pros: Personal interviews and trying to put people in jobs that will be a good fit for them

I went to this agency on the recommendation of the two previous reviewers here. Sorry I wasted another chunk of my time interviewing and testing with them and the use of my references. I have 7 years of solid administrative background within the last 10 years (and more during years before) and scored excellently on Word, but was weak on Excel and Powerpoint (but what couldn't be brushed up on in 1 hour?). I was then told the only work I could do was receptionist for that reason. How insulting. I have a feeling it is because the jobs are very very scarce and the recruiter just wanted someone to fill the few jobs they. After a 6-week assignment as receptionist/admin assistant during which I more than proved I was capable and willing to do way over and beyond the job description, I was offered another receptionist job and told the same thing.

I used staffing solutions twice when I was in between jobs. the owner is great, she interviewed me and then found me some fun assignments until I landed my next job. I would use them again if I ever moved back to missouri.

Pros: loved the staff, kept me busy

I've been to several staffing firms through my career and I can honestly say that Staffing Solutions was the best. They were the only one that has saw through my resume and understood my background as a very active employee that wears many hats.

Pros: High Paying Jobs, Professional
