Johnnie Brock's has four locations, but the Dungeon is the most famous. What started out as a Halloween paradise has become costume central for St. Louis. Buy or rent in all price ranges. Masks are a Halloween favorite, and they have a great selection, from inhumanly grotesque to goofy.

If you don't want to blow a lot of cash on a rental, there's a plethora of retail costumes, including a great selection for kids (both girls and boys) upstairs. If your son aspires to go to school dressed as a pea pod or a Roman emperor rather than just a Power Ranger, this is the place. Johnnie Brock's also carries theatrical-quality makeup. Looking for something a little risqu?? A good selection of R-rated (naughty nurse genre) costumes are sexy without being crass.
