What users are saying:
Fantastic selections, wonderful jewelry, excellent customer service, high quality

I've patronized this shoppe off and on for ten or so years. Cannot say enough nice things about it: the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the garments are in good to excellent condition; they feature a carefully edited selection of accessories that you will not find elsewhere. The prices are fair and reasonable; some of the items are practically a steal. Clean, well-lit store.
- Pros: Service, quality of garments
- Cons: City parking!
Fun & excellent service

We needed 50's outfits for a wedding. The ladies at the 'dashery fussed over us and found the perfect outfits with all the trimmings for us. They were extremely helpful and friendly. Most importantly they were honest about what looked good and what didn't. Check out their shop for your next costume event!
- Pros: They have a new address CitySearch!!!!
Where hats of all shapes and sizes are staging a comeback.

The Scene
It's true that not many folks wear hats these days. Of course, the Swing revival helped soften the rules a bit. So now's the perfect time to make a fashion statement with a stylish hat. And if you have a little granny who's wearing a worn-out Easter bonnet and can't bear to leave the house without covering her head, you can pick up something for her here, too.
The Goods
The Vintage Haberdashery also features a good selection of vintage clothing, so if you'd like to find a nice outfit to go with your new hat, browse the racks for reasonably priced vintage items. In general, the clothing is mostly for women, though the occassional blazer or fedora can be found.
Too Cool For School

I love this place and never come to St.Louis without making it a point to drop in. The owner, Jolie, is passionate about the wearing and collecting of great vintage stuff. If you don't see it on the floor, ask her, she has a basement bulging with great stuff. She is always adding to her inventory and because her prices are low and the quality high she turns her goods quickly. Her handbags and hats are especially nice. She has a nice selection of menswear and a huge costume rental room. If you ask nicely, she might even put on her tap shoes, pull out her fire baton and put on a little show for you right in the window.
- Pros: always something new, great value, vintage designer stuf
- Cons: n/a

This is the best vintage spot in St. Louis. It's clean, well lit, affordable, not too packed and the clothes, most importantly, are in excellent condition.
