HORRIBLE SERVICE

We made 5:30 reservations for New Years Eve for a party of 12. They were unable to seat us together, so we were split up into two tables of 6. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, salads, and entrees before being faced with a close to $300 bill for our table. We promptly paid the bill and tipped our waiter and were enjoying each others company (after all, these were our New Years Eve plans) when 2 minutes after our bill was paid the hostess came over to us. As she checked her watch, she proceeded to tell us that they were already 30 minutes behind schedule for their reservations and she had a whole bar full of people waiting to sit. Basically, we felt as though we were being kicked out. This deceitful, tricky woman had waited until our bill was paid and our waiter was tipped before doing this nasty deed. In addition, if they were 30 minutes behind their reservation that means they expected a table of 6 to eat dinner on New Years Eve in an hour and a half? That just does not make sense, and they blamed their poor scheduling on us, their customers. Never will we return to this restaurant and I do NOT recommend it to anyone at all.

Don't seem to care about their service

Went for a nice meal and had to practically tackle my waitperson to get them to do anything more than smile as they briskly walked back and forth in front of my table. All I wanted was a drink refill (which I never got).

My suggestion is to go someplace else where they have a more attentive waitstaff.

DISAPPOINTING!

My husband and I decided to go to Big Sky for our Anniversary and were very disappointed with the food. Upon arrival, we each got a glass of champagne which was wonderful, but it pretty much stopped there. The wine list didn't have an exception selection, and I ordered the trout which was over peppered and had artichokes on it that were extremely greesy! And sadly, dessert didn't make up for the substandard meal. Fortunately, the service was decend, but did not make up for the second-rate food. Ultimately, I would NOT recommend this restaurant unless they make some improvements!

Home of the best garlic mashed potatoes in town.

The interior of this cafe is eclectically and casually decorated, with twinkling lights on the small patio and rich earth tones inside. People come here to celebrate graduations and birthdays. Menu items include comfort food favorites like meat loaf with red peppers, spinach, and wild mushrooms laced with piquant tomato gravy. Notable side dishes include the cafe's roasted garlic mashed potatoes, plus creamed spinach dressed up with smoked gouda cheese.

horrible service

Adorable restaurant, wonderful, charming decor. The food was good, menu was creative but teh service ruined the whole evening. I wanted the water boy to be my waiter instead of the apathetic, cranky, obviously unhappy waiter we had. I'll go there again, but I hope I never see that waiter again.

Great Patio Dining

Big Sky has a great patio - shaded w/ mature trees w/ little twinkling lights. And of course, the best garlic mashed potatoes!
