I was just at Scandals Day Spa today using a gift certificate that I got for Mother's Day. I LOVED IT! The girl that did my facial was so informative about my skin that I ended up purchasing a package from her to come in for skin treatments for the next 8 months! The facial was so relaxing and I my pedicure was even better! I could have my feet rubbed all day long if someone would let me! I will definitely be going back...hopefully my hubbie will keep getting me gift certificates!

Pros: incredible facialists and manicurist, relaxing atmosphere

Cons: crowded front counter

I just read a review by someone who said she would not go back to Scandals and I am thinking, huh, that's weird, I go there every month or so, and what she described is not like anything I've EVER experienced or seen there. I have my nails, hair and facials done there and I've always been treated very well. I love the atmosphere-everyone is very cordial and welcoming. It's a shame that this lady had such a bad experience there, but I personally won't stop going because of her reveiw.

Pros: Very nice people, comfortable atmosphere

Cons: not always easy to get an appointment at the last minute

I WENT INTO THIS SPA WITH A G.C. FOR A PEDICUE AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED. THE GIRLS THAT WERE THERE WERE ALL TALKING TO EACH OTHER INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON ME. MY MANICURISTS DIDNT EVEN TURN ON MY MASSAGE CHAIR OR ASK ME IF I WANTED ANYTHING TO DRINK. THE MASSAGE WAS POOR AND THE WHOLE PEDICURE WENT BY EXTREMLY FAST. I WAS 10 MINUTES LATE TO EVEN GET INTO THE CHAIR BC SHE WAS RUNNING LATE AND THEN I WAS DONE BEFORE MY HOUR WAS TO BE UP. NEEDLESS TO SAY I FELT VERY RUSHED AND MISTREATED. WHEN I PAY 50.00 FOR A PEDICURE I EXPECT TO BE PAMPERED AND TREATED VERY NICE. IT WAS NOT THE CASE HERE. NEXT TIME I WANT RED POLISH ALL OVER MY TOES I GUESS I WILL JUST STAY AT HOME AND DO IT MYSELF! GOOD GREIF!!

Pros: THEY WERE ABLE TO GET ME IN AT THE LAST MINUTE---NO WONDER WITH SUCH HORRIBLE SERVICE

Cons: EVERYTHING......IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLACE YOU CAN HAVE YOUR NAILS DONE BY A 4YR OLD....WELL THEN YOU FOUND IT! TRY ANOTHER SPA IN THE AREA BEFORE THIS ONE!!

I walked in the door and felt the tension instantly. it seemed like everyone hated working there. My hair turned out amazing and i loved my stylist. but i had a small issue while paying and the situation was handled horribly. The manager openly yelled at the girl at the front desk, and then was rude to me. hmmm...maybe new management is an idea. i loved my hair but i dont think i'll be returning, i like my visits to be relaxing....what a shame

Pros: great stylist

Cons: angry atmosphere, angry boss, i could feel the tension

I went to Scandals about a month ago. I have never had so many compliments in my life on my hair. It really looks great. The only problem is it cost me 200 bucks. I would highly recommend Scandals to anyone who is vain enough to spend that kind of money on themselves. To everyone else... treat yourself once and then have someone else keep up the style for a more affordable price.

Pros: Great service, friendly, very professional

Cons: Price, terrible magazine selection

I would do my own nails before going back. The staffed talked amoung themselves like they were out with the girls!

Pros: Location is great for South County

Cons: Cost too much for what you get!

This was an anniversary gift to ourselves. This was a very affordable and beyond excellent couples massage. The relaxing room was lovely. The massage room was comfortable and the therapists -- Matt and Chrissy -- were amazing! We'll probably buy a package.

Pros: friendly staff, great hands!, affordable

I went to Scandals for a pedicure, and it was really good. My girl worked on me for a full hour, which is a big difference than the 30 minute pedicures I've had other places. And the foot massage was the best part. The people there were nice, and it was really like a community, with all of the other people getting pedicures chatting with each other and the employees. I really liked the place and I would be inclined to go back again.

Pros: nice staff, close to I-255, clean & pretty decor

I found Scandals Day Spa's web site when I was looking for a place to get a massage while I was in St. Louis this summer. Their web site was easily accessible, and it gave me all the information I needed. When I arrived for my massage I fell in love with the place. It is so pretty inside and everyone was so nice. I had the best massage I've ever had that day. So good, in fact, that I asked in I could get a facial while I was there. Luckily, they had an opening...it was as good as the massage! My mom and sister live in St. Louis, and I know what they're getting for Christmas from now on!

I had the Scandals Signature Facial, and I loved it! They used the Astara products, which I saw on an old Rosie O'Donnell show, and they are all different colors to do different things for the skin. When I was finished, my skin was so smooth, I couldn't believe it!
