Quality hair care

I just wanted to recommend Andie for haircuts. I've been with her for 3 years now, and she's definitely worth it. Be specific in describing what you want, and she delivers. I also don't think that she's pushy at all about the product. A few visits ago I actually wanted to buy stuff though, and she was knowledgeable about answering my questions and made some good recommendations.
KEEP YOUR MONEY IN YOUR POCKET

This was my first (and LAST) time I walk into Studio Branca . First off, the grumpy receptionist treated me as if I was I was an annoyance when I arrived at my appointment. Then the "stylist" I got was not only rude, he was insulting and not a bit helpful. Matt needs some customer service training. He was so busy on his I-phhone texting about the next photo shoot. When I took my hair tie off, he said my hair was "at a hideous length." When I asked his opinion of whether I should get a layered cut or straight cut, he just replied, "I don't know! I'm not the one who's going to walk around with the hair cut!" When I asked if I could drink my coffee during the cut, he said, "Sure." But when I took a drink and held the cup in my lap, that rude hack grabbed it out my hand, plopped it on the counter and said, "I didn't know what I was saying Yes to. See what happens when you take a drink? Your head moves back and I won't be able to cut your hair." Fine, but did you have to just grab it out of my hand? And after all that, the cut was pretty pitiful. I had been growing my hair out for the past year, so it looked pretty awful before the hair cut. When he was done. I still had fly-aways and uneven lengths, and I was $56 poorer!
- Pros: nice building
- Cons: lousy service

on my cut, color and skin since I've become a client of the Branca salons. You know you have a great cut when you don't have to fuss with your hair to get the "look". Having lived in LA for many years I was extremely apprehensive about finding a salon and spa that I would love as much as my salon in LA. Hands down Branca was the most recommended hot spot to visit for all my salon spa services ... and I know why. I am always last minute with booking services so I have seen several different folks for my hair and skincare ... I have been extremely pleased with each one.
Highly recommend.
- Pros: highly educated, friendly, knowledgable, passionate
Worst salon experience ever--do not waste your money!

Although this salon may have received some nice recommendations, I would assume they were written by their own stylists or by a snooty bunch of regulars that receive good service while others are treated like dirt. This salon does nothing to make new customers feel welcome or as if they matter. I walked out, having paid a fortune, for a very average haircut and not so special color. The entire time, I felt as if I was bothering the sylist and the people at the front desk give new meaning to the term stuck up. Even if they lowered their prices, I would never go back nor would I recommend this salon. It doesn't seem this place recognizes the importance of treating new clients well. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
- Pros: Good smelling products
- Cons: Everything else
VERY SNOOTY ESTABLISHMENT
by andshesaidyes at Citysearch
First off, my appt. was not scheduled right. My stylist was a full hour behind. The hair cut was aweful, this girl had no idea what she was doing. I felt very pressured to buy products that I did not want. The front desk was snooty towards me as well as every other staff member that passed me, while I sat on the bench for over an hour waiting to get my hair butchered!
THE WHOLE EXPIERENCE WAS HORRIABLE...SHE HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO BOOK MY NEXT APPT......UHHGG
- Pros: the products smelled nice
- Cons: rude, uneducated, over rated,
Horrible service, blah haircut and color

I went to this salon with high expectations but was disappointed about the entire experience. The people did not make me feel welcome and the sylist was horribly unattentive. She was literally preparing for her next appointment by picking out swatches of color and consulting with other employees. I'm sitting in the chair and she's barely concerned with me and is asking for hairbooks etc., to get ready for her next booking. The entire time I was there, she made me feel as if she was bothered by me and did not seem interested at all in making my time or the end result positive. Ultimately, my haircut and highlight were not disastrous, but not special enough to warrant the EXHORBITANT cost I paid. It was my first and last time to go there. They obviously don't care about securing new customers.
- Pros: Location
- Cons: HIGH cost, poor service
Wonderful!!!

I love this place!!! I have very difficult hair and until I started going here have never been satisfied with it when I leave. Now, I always walk out of the salon feeling refreshed and happy. I see Andrea for my hair and Kit in the spa! They are both down to earth and go out of their way to make you comfortable! The people are great and friendly and are very talented at what they do. If you are looking for a relaxing afternoon or just need a pick-me-up to make you feel better about yourself Studio Branca is the place to go. The only downfall is it can be a bit expensive; however, you get what you pay for!!!
- Pros: Service, Ambience, Parking, Atmosphere, People, and the way you feel when you leave!!!
- Cons: Hard to get a first appointment, but that should tell you how good they are!
Phenomenal Experience everytime!!!

I have been a longtime Studio Branca customer and cannot say enough about it!!! Everyone from the front desk (Shannon), to the spa (Sara), to the amazing stylists (Dean), Studio Branca takes customer service to a whole new level. It is always nice walking in for my weekly nail appointments or my haircuts and being greeted by my first name. If your looking for a place that is warm, friendly and does an amazing job Studio Branca is the place. You are definitley not just another customer at Studio Branca you are a valued asset!
- Pros: Great atmosphere, great services, great people
The Best Salon In St. Louis!
by cwrush at Citysearch
In response to any negitive comments about this first class establishment, I'm SHOCKED! I've been going to Studio Branca for four years now and I've never had a bad experience. I've tried many of the services they offer and they've been phenomenal! My hairstylists are the greatest! Harlee and Jessica are awesome at listening to what I want but also contributing their professional opinions. The same goes for the spa, the massages are wonderful and the facials are great. And as far as the customer service goes, I have never seen a more enthusiastic staff! Shannon and Candice are extremly helpful and friendly, as is the rest of the staff. The overall experience at Studio Branca has been amazing for me, and I would recommend it to anyone! :)
P.S. Rumor is they are opening a new salon in Chesterfield. I can't wait!!!!!
- Pros: Absolutly amazing!
- Cons: None!
3rd time is not charm!
by cig at Citysearch
I have tried 3 different girls at Studio Branca in an effort to get a good hair cut but with no luck. They seen to have their own agenda and KNOW what you need to have done to your hair, disregarding the client's wishes. I had hopes I could find a great stylist since I have moved here from Indianapolis, but I am about to conclude that going back to Indianapolis for a great haircut is more promising. Wishing for the days of Markus Bluestine and Facade LTD...3rd time is not charm! ugh
- Cons: Get this kind of cut at Great Clips
