I am a Personal Trainer, and I pay the gym to train my clients. My clients pay me...we are all happy. I can train my clients in private with more then enough Hammer Strength and other equipment. It's small though and works the best for only few people at a time. Ron Smith's Muay Thai Academy is right down the hall that I also attend 3 times a week. That's why I love it!
Pros: Private and perfect for Personal Training. Great Value and Equipment
Cons: small, outdated decor haha I call it old school.

This used to be THE best gym in the city until the owners of the building decided to futz with the floor plan. Over a half (WELL over a half) of the original space was walled off and two smaller areas "opened" to accommodate the machines and weights. It had been just the right size. The end for me came when I had to start stepping over benches just to retrieve weights from the racks and walk under a machine to find floor space to work. This place was awesome; now it is just claustrophobic.
Pros: The folks running it offer a great value and fantastiv service.
Cons: The layout is almost unusable. Especially when more more than two people want to work out at the same time.

If you want a small out of the way place to work out and not be bothered by a million people, this is the place. I went and checked it out after reading the review. The price can't be beat and it was exactly what I was looking for.
Pros: nice atmosphere, low traffic
Cons: low traffic can be a negative when you need a spotter

This Gym is only $189 dollars a year!!! This is the best deal in all the Midwest. It has all the best equipment and only 60 members. The members are the owners, and all profits go back into the gym for new equipment.
Pros: Great parking, inexpensive, train alone
Cons: Hidden, train alone
