I had to dispute the last guys rant, I taught for Jane, 1992- 2004, I am edjucated and quailfied to teach, one of my accomplishments = I've choreographed 20 musicals etc... Back to my point, Jane has a safe, loving, and fun studio. Her classes are packed full of dance technique and her steps are age appropriate. She builds up dancers confidence and gives them careful critique. Dance studio's with the child's edjucation in mind are hard to find, this is one of them.

As a former patron of this dance studio, I would not recommend it. My child was a long term dancer, and while there were some good things about the studio, there were far more that were not so good. It wasn't until experiencing other dance studio's that the realization was that this was not a good studio. The good was that there were some decent teachers who were good to the kids. The down side is the lack of organization, and the creative accounting that was used. It was either nickel and dime to death for miscellaneous charges, or being charged more than once for the same thing, or payments not being credited. The owner has no formal training in dance, and most of the teachers do not as well. The are simply former students who eventually became teachers. I would recommend checking out the other studios in the St. Charles/O'fallon area before choosing Studio J. Educate yourself to what a real dance studio should be.

I have been dancing for ten years since I was three years old. I have gone to many other studio's there not one was as great as Studio J. As for the teachers, they are fabulous! They are all so joyful and nice! They really encourage you and challenge you to do your best! I have improved dramatically within the few years that I have been taking dance lessons there! I highly recommend it!

Studio J is amazing and i love it. i've danced there for a loong time and it feels like home. we have so much fun there and our dances are really good. we commpete and do very good.
